Evaluation of cases submitted

As in any refereed journal, cases submitted for publication in the International Journal of Case Studies in Management are subject to peer review. Cases are evaluated mainly on the basis of the editorial policy established by the Journal. To find out more about the criteria on which this process is based, contributors can consult the evaluation form and the Evaluation Guidelines for Teaching Notes used by evaluators. To the extent that it allows Review Committee members and evaluators to ensure the quality of the cases published, this activity represents an essential component of the Journal’s mission.

To ensure the effectiveness of the review process, several professors have been placed in charge of the evaluation mechanism in their respective fields of interest. Their task consists in considering the cases received by the Centre in order to determine their suitability for evaluation by peers and in choosing the professors to whom the cases will be submitted for evaluation. The final issue of each year contains a list of all the individuals who served as evaluators during the year.
