CHOSEN LEADERS AND THEIR RESEARCHERS
In this section, you will find short introductions for
several of the Integral Leaders we are currently studying (Names
underlined in the table below) as well as the names
of the researchers writing a leadography.
All integral leaders share common characteristics. They
all have developed themselves beyond the consciousness stage
of "actualization", called "self-transcendence" by Abraham
Maslow (See the document "Commented Outline" section II.4
for a more detailed explanation of these concepts).
However, integral leaders can differ in terms of the depth
of their "self-transcendence". While some can be considered
to have reached the first degree of this stage of
consciousness, others exhibit a greater depth of mastery. To
use a metaphor, if all Integral leaders have earned a "black
belt" in judo, some of them have earned a black belt "first
dan", while some others have mastered the fifth and last
dan.
