Travel Information

Montréal Trudeau Airport (YUL), formerly known as Dorval Airport, receives direct flights from more than 100 Canadian and international airports.  One of the top ten business airports in the world, according to the International Air Transport Association, Montréal Trudeau International Airport is located approximately 12 kilometres (7 miles) south-east of Montréal city centre and serves the city and outlying regions.

Here are links to two airport websites - they are both helpful in different ways and both provide information about flights, parking, airport services, car rentals, shuttles and public ground transportation, etc.

Transferring from Airport to Hotels or HEC Montréal

Taxi fare from the airport to downtown Montréal is approximately $35 Cdn.  As an alternative, the L'aérobus shuttle ($13 Cdn) runs approximately every 20 minutes from the airport to the Montréal Central Bus Station (Berri terminal).  From there you can take the minibus shuttle to most downtown hotels, or you can transfer to the Berri-UQAM Metro station and take the subway to HEC Montréal or to the Université de Montréal residence halls.  Additional information about the subway is available on the Local Transportation page.  Additional information about taxis or the L'aérobus shuttle can be found on either of the airport information links above.
